Two Left Feet reaches 50 episodes!
Marilyn and Rebecca celebrated the milestone of reaching 50 episodes this week by looking back at how a slightly ridiculous idea involving football, AI and two unlikely pundits became a show they now look forward to recording every week. Here they are talking about their journey, as well as an added extra from the show where Marilyn offers her suggestion to improve VAR, by taking it to another level.

What Our Shows Sound Like
We often talk about inclusion, opportunity and giving individuals with a learning disability or autism the chance to create their own media. But sometimes, the best way to explain what we do is simply to let people hear it.
This clip is the opening of an August edition of Pop Time, one of the shows created at Tune-Ability. We can’t share the commercial music itself, but we can give you a taste of the production around it — including the presenter links and the AI-generated jingles we create to give each programme its own professional identity.
There can still be a stigma around learning disability and assumptions about what people will be able to produce. We want to keep challenging those assumptions. Our presenters don’t make “good radio for people with learning disabilities”. They make good radio.
The support may look different for each person. Some read scripts, some work with shorter lines, some use adapted recording methods and some make use of technology such as AI voices or specially created audio. The aim is never to replace the person behind the programme — it is to give them the tools they need to get their ideas out into the world.
And the finished result matters. Earlier this year, that approach was recognised when Tune-Ability won the Technology Award at the Markel 3rd Sector Care Awards 2026. This little clip gives you an idea why. It’s creative, polished and made with care — but most importantly, there is a real person, their choices and their personality at the heart of it. This is inclusion when expectations are raised, not lowered.

We feature a diverse array of radio shows like the invigorating Pop Time with Andy & Rebecca, to a smooth music collection with Sian's Smooth Sessions and Metal Mayhem with Jake, to community and football podcasts. We also incorporate AI text-to-speech to give non-verbal individuals the opportunity to host their own show, Tune-Ability caters to a vast array of musical tastes and interests.
Our Podcasts
Tune-Ability has always been about giving people the chance to create, present and produce content of their own. Our podcasts take that idea beyond music radio and open the door to even more subjects, conversations and ways to get involved.
Podcasting gives our presenters space to explore the things they care about, whether that is football, films, retro gaming, local issues or conversations with interesting guests. It also gives us the freedom to create programmes that would not always fit into a traditional radio format.
Our podcast range is deliberately varied. Voices of One Fylde brings people together for interviews and conversations about our community and the issues that matter to them. Two Left Feet takes a lighter look at football, while Beyond the 90 explores the EFL and the clubs across our region in more depth. JB Silly Cinema Club heads to the movies, and Retro Game Corner with Nasser Mohammed celebrates gaming and nostalgia.
Each show has its own style and personality, but the aim behind them is the same: to create meaningful opportunities for individuals with a learning disability or autism to develop their skills, share their interests and make content for a real audience.
